Lombard's annual Christmas Mart takes over West Maple Street on Saturday, Nov. 7, with free admission and what a vendor listing describes as more than 125 crafters, artists and vendors selling handmade gifts, holiday decorations and jewelry.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. across multiple locations along Maple Street, including area churches and the Lombard Historical Society's Lilac Emporium Gift Shop at 23 W. Maple St. Parking is free.
The Village of Lombard's event listing describes the mart as a tradition that brings together local artists, crafters and vendors. Shoppers can expect handmade goods, holiday decorations and what organizers call "plenty of unique finds."
New for 2026, the Lombard Historical Society is promoting a Historic Downtown Lombard mobile app that lets shoppers browse participating vendors, find their locations and plan stops along the route. The app also features a digital punch card that tracks visits to participating locations, according to the society's event page.
The society, led by Executive Director Alison Costanzo, operates the Lilac Emporium Gift Shop, which will carry Lombard-themed gifts and holiday items during the mart.
Organizers have not published a full list of participating churches and other Maple Street locations. The Lombard Christmas Mart Facebook page is listed as the source for additional details and updates as the event approaches.
