Thirteen residential properties changed hands in Glen Ellyn during the week of Oct. 12, topped by a $3.25 million sale on Forest Avenue, according to a Shaw Local property transfer report.
Dana McEnery purchased the four-bedroom, five-bathroom home at 281 Forest Ave. from Ryan Murphy and Carey McCarthy. The 3,900-square-foot property traded at $833 per square foot.
The week's median sale was a four-bedroom home at 457 Taylor Ave. that sold for $1.1 million. Daniel Foster and Kristina Griffin bought the 3,264-square-foot home from Richard Kraker at $335 per square foot.
A $1.3 million home at 639 Stanton Road ranked second. Justin Paul Schwanke and Margaret R. Schwanke bought the 4,921-square-foot property from Patrick and Kathryn Donnelly at $264 per square foot.
Steven P. and Susan R. Higdon paid $885,000 for a condominium at 460 Pennsylvania Ave. A trust acquired a three-bedroom home at 680 Revere Road for $760,000.
Two one-bedroom condos at 1198 Royal Glen Drive sold for under $170,000. The week's least expensive transfer was a one-bedroom condo at 1188 Royal Glen Drive for $140,000.
