Teams of adults will race to finish a 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle at the Glen Ellyn Park District's Puzzle Palooza on Oct. 10 at Maryknoll Clubhouse, 845 Pershing Ave.

The event is open to ages 21 and older. Teams of two to four people each get an identical puzzle and two hours to complete it. If no team finishes in time, the group with the fewest loose pieces left wins.

Two sessions are available: 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. Registration costs $45 per team for Glen Ellyn residents and $55 for nonresidents. Participants can bring snacks and adult beverages.

The park district noted on its event page that the event may already be full. Interested teams can check availability or join a waiting list.

The park district has held Puzzle Palooza three times before in 2026. The February session used a 500-piece puzzle at $35 per team for residents. The June, August and October editions use 1,000 pieces.
