Downtown Glen Ellyn's annual Craft Beer Crawl returns Saturday, Sept. 26, sending up to 250 ticket holders on a walking tour of local bars with 10 craft beer tastings along the way.

The 21-and-over event runs from 12:30 to 5 p.m. and starts at The Beer Cellar, 488 Crescent Blvd., where participants check in during staggered registration times. Tickets cost $40 and include a souvenir glass and 10 four-ounce pours at stops throughout downtown, according to the Alliance of Downtown Glen Ellyn's event page.

New this year is an 11th stop, billed as a "Golden Ticket," redeemable at a participating restaurant with the purchase of an entree.

The crawl wraps up with an Oktoberfest afterparty at Maplewood Public House, 486 Pennsylvania Ave., featuring live music and an Oktoberfest theme, Patch reported.

The Alliance capped attendance at 250. Souvenir glasses are real glass rather than plastic, according to the event listing. Go Green Glen Ellyn sponsors a collection program so attendees can return their glasses to be sanitized and reused at future events.
