Prospective students can apply to College of DuPage (COD) on the spot, with the application fee waived, at the college's Fall Open House on Thursday, Oct. 8.

The event runs from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Physical Education Center Arena on COD's Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd. It is free and open to the public, but registration is required.

More than 60 program representatives will be on hand, covering liberal arts, STEM, business, technology, health sciences and other fields, according to the college. Admissions, registration and financial aid staff will also be available to walk attendees through the enrollment process.

The Fall Open House is a larger event than the college's Discover COD sessions, which are smaller guided-tour meetings held in the Student Services Center. The next Discover COD session is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, with additional sessions Nov. 10 and Dec. 8.
