Downtown Glen Ellyn's annual Craft Beer Crawl returns Saturday, Sept. 26, with a new Oktoberfest-inspired after-party closing out the afternoon.

The crawl runs from 12:30 to 5 p.m. and is hosted in partnership with The Beer Cellar, 488 Crescent Blvd. Tickets cost $40 and include ten 4-ounce craft beer pours, an event program with a map and a custom glass souvenir. Only 250 tickets are available, according to the event page. The event is open to adults 21 and older.

Check-in begins at The Beer Cellar with staggered start times between 12:30 and 2 p.m.

New for 2026, the crawl wraps up with an after-party at Maplewood Public House, 486 Pennsylvania Ave. The Oktoberfest-themed gathering will feature live music and food and drink available for purchase, Shaw Local reported.

Also new: an 11th "Golden Ticket" pour is available to redeem at participating restaurants with the purchase of an entrée.

"This event brings together everything people love about fall in Glen Ellyn — great beer, great company, and the energy of our downtown," Dawn Smith, executive director of the Alliance of Downtown Glen Ellyn, said in a Sept. 21 news release.

The Alliance of Downtown Glen Ellyn, a nonprofit supported by the Village of Glen Ellyn, organizes the crawl. All ticket sales are final and non-refundable, though the Alliance said it will email ticket holders with options if the event is canceled.

Maplewood Public House opened May 8 at the former Two Hound Red Brewing Co. space, according to Patch. The Glen Ellyn location is the first expansion outside Chicago for Maplewood Brewery & Distillery, according to Craft Brewing Business. The spot features a 15-barrel brewhouse and an outdoor patio.

Tickets are limited to 250.

The souvenir glasses are real glass, not plastic. Attendees can take them home or return them to be sanitized and reused at a future Glen Ellyn event. Go Green Glen Ellyn sponsors the glass collection.
