Pequod's Pizza, the Chicago-area chain Yelp ranked No. 1 on its 2024 list of the 100 Best Pizzas in America, will sell par-baked pies at Noon Whistle Brewing in Lombard on Wednesday, Oct. 21.

Orders must be placed by noon that day through DwellSocial, which charges a $5 platform fee. Pickup begins at 5:30 p.m. at 800 E. Roosevelt Rd.

The pizzas arrive partially cooked with Pequod's signature caramelized crust and need finishing in a home oven. The event listing on Patch warns that previous pop-ups have sold out.

Pequod's, known for a ring of mozzarella baked against the edge of its pizza pans, operates permanent locations in Morton Grove and Chicago. A similar pop-up ran at Noon Whistle in late August.

Customers who place two or more DwellSocial orders for the same day pay the $5 fee once.
